แสนภูมิ (อั้ม อธิชาติ) รีบกลับจากเมืองนอกทันทีที่รู้ว่า สันต์ เสียชีวิตด้วยโรคหัวใจวายเฉียบพลัน มาลีวรรณ (ธัญญ่า ธัญญเรศ) ภรรยาของพ่อจัดการงานศพทุกอย่างแทนแสนภูมิ และรอให้เขากลับมาเผา เพราะพินัยกรรมจะถูกเปิดทันทีที่เผาศพ ในอีก 100 วันข้างหน้า แสนภูมิใช้เวลาที่เหลือเที่ยวเตร่จนมาถูกตาต้องใจกับ รมณีย์ (เมจิ พิมพ์อักษิพร) หลานสาวของ สกัด (ชินทัพพ์) ซึ่งมาลีวรรณเป็นคนแนะนำเพื่อหลอกล่อให้แสนภูมิเข้าแข่งรถที่พัทยา ระหว่างทางแสนภูมิเห็นอุบัติเหตุรถชน จึงรีบลงไปช่วยจนชายคนนั้นปลอดภัย แต่ไม่ทันได้รับคำขอบคุณจาก ใบเตย (นุ่น ศิรพันธ์) ผู้เป็นลูกสาว
ป้าไขแสง (เปิ้ล จารุณี) เมื่อเห็นหลานชายอย่างแสนภูมิวันๆไม่สนใจงาน เลยเล่าความจริงเรื่องมาลีวรรณ เป็นผู้วางแผนฆ่าพ่อเพื่อหวังสมบัติ แต่เขากลับไม่เชื่อ เพราะที่ผ่านมาป้ามักจะคอยว่าร้ายคนอื่นอยู่เสมอ เธอจึงขอร้องให้แสนภูมิไปช่วยคุมการก่อสร้างโรงงานน้ำพริกของเธอ แต่เขากลับส่งเพื่อนไปแทน ส่วนตัวเองควงรมณีย์ไปแข่งรถจนเกิดอุบัติเหตุ อาการสาหัสสมองกระทบกระเทือนรุนแรง หมอวิเวก (เจี๊ยบ วัชระ) ผ่าตัดแสนภูมิจนปลอดภัยแต่เขาฟื้นขึ้นมากับความผิดปกติ สามารถได้ยินเสียงความคิดของคนอื่น หมอบอกว่ามีวิธีพิเศษที่ทำให้แสนภูมิมีความพิเศษนี้ เมื่อแผนการไม่สำเร็จ มาลีวรรณจึงส่งคนไปฆ่าแสนภูมิ ในคราบของคนขับรถ
ด้านแสนภูมิรู้สึกกังวลกับอาการผิดปกติของตัวเอง จึงไปปรึกษาหมอวิเวก ระหว่างทางเขาได้ยินแผนการที่มือสังหารกำลังคิด และรู้ว่ามาลีวรรณเกี่ยวข้องกับแผนการนี้ แสนภูมิจึงแอบหนีออกจากบ้านไปอาศัยอยู่กับเพื่อนคือ ชนะพร (มิค บรมวุฒิ) แต่ถูกชนะพรหลอกเอาเงิน จึงไปหาเกษมศักดิ์ ขอให้ช่วยขายของทุกอย่างเพื่อเอาเงินมาใช้ในการซ่อนตัว แต่นอกจากแสนภูมิจะไม่ได้เงินแล้ว เพื่อนยังคิดที่จะโทรตามมาลีวรรณให้มาเอาตัวไป แสนภูมิหนีออกมาและรู้สึกไม่ไว้ใจใคร ตัดสินใจเล่าเรื่องทั้งหมดให้ป้าไขแสงฟังและขอซ่อนตัวอยู่ที่โรงงานน้ำพริก ป้ายินดีแต่มีข้อแม้ว่าจะต้องช่วยทำงานโดยได้ค่าจ้างวันละ 150 บาท ที่นี่ทำให้เขาได้รู้จักกับสองพี่น้อง ใบเตย สาวเก่ง อ่อนหวาน ปากตรงกับใจ ไม่เคยคิดร้ายและใบตาล (วุตม์ สุรินทร) ผู้มีความผิดปกติทางสมอง ภายนอกเหมือนคนปัญญาอ่อนแต่ภายในอัจฉริยะ ซึ่งทั้งคู่เป็นลูกของชายที่เขาเคยช่วยชีวิตไว้
แสนภูมิซ่อนตัวอยู่ในโรงงานหนีสายสืบได้ทุกครั้ง จนสนิทกับใบเตยมากขึ้น ทั้งสองเริ่มชอบพอกันจนถูกคนนินทา จึงตัดสินใจขอใบเตยแต่งงาน ไม่นานมาลีวรรณและพวกออกตามหา ในที่สุดเขากลับมาบ้านเพื่อรอพบมาลีวรรณ ด้านมาลีวรรณเองก็เครียดมากออกเที่ยวบาร์โดยไม่รู้ว่าหมอวิเวกและ หมอจอมขวัญ (อภิสรา ฉวีวงษ์) ให้เจ้าของบาร์ช่วยอัดเทปไว้ ซึ่งก็เป็นผลเมื่อเธอเมาไม่ได้สติ เธอก็ยอมสารภาพทุกอย่างจนหมด แสนภูมิโทรให้ตำรวจและนักข่าวมาทำข่าวเปิดโปงความจริง จนเมื่อมาลีวรรณฟื้นกลับกล่าวหาว่าแสนภูมิบุกรุกบ้าน แต่ป้าไขแสงโผล่เข้ามาและเล่าความจริงทุกอย่างให้ตำรวจฟัง พร้อมกับเอาเทปของมาลีวรรณมาแฉ เมื่อจนมุมด้วยหลักฐานมาลีวรรณถูกจับและซักทอดถึงสกัด
แสนภูมิรับมรดกที่พ่อทิ้งไว้และเข้าไปบริหารกิจการที่กำลังแย่ให้ดีขึ้น โดยใช้พรสวรรค์การรู้จิตใจคนช่วยเจรจาธุรกิจ แสนภูมิทำงานหนักจนลืมใบเตย ใบเตยเสียใจที่เขาไม่มีเวลาให้ แสนภูมิปรับความเข้าใจและรู้ว่าใบเตยกำลังจะมีลูก เขาดีใจมากกลับมาช่วยป้าไขแสงจนกิจการรุ่งเรือง และต่อจากนี้ไป เขาจะได้ยินเสียงความคิดของคนอื่นอีกแค่2-3ปีท่านั้นและคงจะไม่หลงกับหน้ากากสวยๆคำพูดหวานๆของคนอื่นอีกต่อไป
